Dr. Gene Morse is a SUNY Distinguished Professor in the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and Director of the Translational Pharmacology Research Core in the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences. He also serves as Co-Director of the SUNY Global Health Institute.
An internationally recognized leader in clinical pharmacology and translational research, Dr. Morse has advanced therapeutic development in HIV, viral hepatitis, and global health for more than three decades. He directs NIH- and Fogarty-supported programs in clinical pharmacology training and capacity building in Africa and the Caribbean, including partnerships with the University of Zimbabwe and the University of the West Indies.
