PSDCF was proud to co-sponsor the biennial International Cuba Congress: Controlling Diabetes and Its More Severe Complications, on December 6-9, 2016 in Havana and Veradero, Cuba. This Congress broke the barriers to allow both US companies and scientists to finally participate together at such an event being hosted in Cuba and to have direct engagement with Cuban scientists, doctors, and other medical professionals. This event continues the legacy of Dr. Peter Sheehan to bring together scientific communities, with the goal of furthering diabetes prevention.
The next Congress will take place in 2024. Dates to be announced.
