Dr. John C. Lantis is Professor of Surgery and Site Chief of Surgery at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City, where he also directs the Wound and Vascular Surgery Research Fellowship. A leading vascular surgeon and clinical investigator, he has served as Vice Chair and Chief of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at Mount Sinai West and Morningside Hospitals since 2007.
Dr. Lantis has been the principal investigator on more than 70 national and international clinical trials focused on wound healing, limb salvage, and vascular surgery. He is a past president of the New York Vascular Society and a founding member of both the Vascular Study Group of Greater New York and the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery.
An active clinician, educator, and researcher, Dr. Lantis continues to advance innovation in wound care and vascular surgery through multidisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based practice.
